Why We Built This
Most personal finance tools ask for your banking credentials, connect to third-party aggregators, or store your sensitive financial data on remote servers. That felt wrong to us. Your net worth is deeply personal information, and tracking it shouldn't require giving up your privacy.
Total Worth takes a fundamentally different approach. The entire application runs in your browser. There is no backend server, no database, no user accounts, and no analytics. Your financial data is stored in your browser's local storage and never transmitted anywhere. You are in complete control.
What You Can Track
Fixed Assets
Add real estate properties with their size in square meters and purchase price. Update the market price per square meter each year to see how your property appreciates. Total Worth automatically calculates current market value from your area and price data, so you always know what your properties are worth today.
Multi-Currency Cash
Track bank accounts and savings in EUR, USD, and RON. Enter your balance for each year and Total Worth converts everything to your chosen display currency using configurable exchange rates. See exactly how your liquidity position evolves over time, across all currencies.
Investments
Monitor cryptocurrency holdings like Bitcoin and Ethereum, stock market investments like the S&P 500, and any other tradeable assets. Record the quantity you hold and the price per unit for each year. Total Worth multiplies quantity by price to show your portfolio's total value and growth trajectory.
